Level 1: Explore phase
(For babies of 12 month+)
First words and sounds ignite baby's curiosity.
Sing-along songs, fun sounds & phrases and shape & color names reward baby for hands-on exploration, and for sitting & scooting along. Simple words, songs, phrases and sounds initiate shapes, colors, numbers, opposites and more.
Level 1: Encourage phase
(For babies of 18 month+)
Prompt baby to recognize shapes & colors through questions and simple directions. Cool prompts encourage thinking skills as baby searches for shapes and colors.
Encouraging voice phrases like- ‘Find the red triangle. Good job'- prize baby for playing. As baby grows, continue to support play and learning. Asking little question such as, 'Can you honk the horn?' or 'What color is the scooter?' could be prompting.
Level 3: Pretending phase
(For babies of 24 month+)
Fun songs & phrases persuade baby to pretend, imagine and role playing with a amusing character friend. Baby will get instructions like, 'Pretend to wave to a friend’. Rewards like cheering and songs help baby comprehend that actions can make fun things happen.
